Our course was created by the CoachSafely foundation in partnership with the National Council of Youth Sports Safety, the NCAA, the Aspen Institute, the Andrews Institute, Safe Kids, and Children’s of Alabama.
From football and cheerleading to baseball, basketball, volleyball, and soccer, our training is applicable for youth coaches of all sports.
It's a comprehensive approach to safety - physical, mental, emotional, and social - protecting the whole athlete.
It's self-paced, so you can start and stop as needed and your progress will be saved. Once completed, coaches are CoachSafely certified for one year.
In 2024, CoachSafely Foundation partnered with Samford University Sports & Analytics to conduct a course efficacy study with 600 CoachSafely certified coaches. The goal was to gauge knowledge comprehension and application following course completion.
